“Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.”

I created a social campaign calling for the end of involuntary servitude in New York jails and prisons. The goal is to encourage people to contact their local senator and tell them to push the bill S7282 forward. According to nysenate.gov, this bill “ends involuntary servitude in correctional facilities in New York state.”
